Trustee Opportunity – Hull Women’s Aid
Becoming a Trustee offers a meaningful and rewarding opportunity to support a vital service that protects and empowers those affected by domestic abuse. You will play a key role in providing strategic direction, oversight, and stewardship to a well-established, forward-thinking charity.
We are seeking new Trustees who share our vision and values, and who will complement the skills and experience of our existing Board.
What We’re Looking For...
We are currently looking to recruit up to four new Trustees to support the next phase of our journey.
We welcome women from all backgrounds, and are particularly interested in those with knowledge or experience in:
- Finance
- Social housing
- Charity law
- Fundraising and business development
- HR, marketing, or senior leadership
You do not need previous board experience, just a commitment to our cause, a willingness to learn, and the time to contribute.
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive Board and welcome applications from women aged 18 and over.
Why Join Us?
Your knowledge, leadership, and lived experience can help us deliver our ambitious strategy beyond 2025 and continue to build services that truly change lives. Trustees can contribute to an experienced, passionate team and help shape a stronger future for women and children in our community.
