Where to report domestic abuse?

Domestic abuse is a distressing reality for many individuals, but it is crucial to remember help and support is available. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse in their relationships it is important to know where to turn for help.
Emergency Services – 999
In an emergency always call 999 if you are in danger and press 55 if you cannot speak.
Non-emergency Police – 101
If you are not in an emergency, but you still need police assistance or advice please call 101.

Hull Women’s Aid provides temporary accommodation, online support and a 24-hour telephone helpline for women fleeing from or living with domestic abuse.

National Domestic Abuse Helpline
The National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge, provides confidential support and advice to survivors of domestic abuse. You can contact them 24/7 on 0808 2000 247. Trained helpline workers offer emotional support, safety planning, and information on accessing local services.
Hull Domestic Abuse Partnership – 01482 318759
The Hull DAP team are a group of professionals who provide support to survivors of abuse. Hull DAP can support survivors regardless of gender.
Remember, you're not alone, and there are people and organisations ready to support you. Reporting domestic abuse is a crucial step towards breaking the cycle of violence and ensuring the safety and well-being of survivors.
